  • How often do these classes run?
Each session runs once a month, with Biology on Saturday and Chemistry on Sunday. Please visit our GCSE/A-level page to see a full timetable of topics covered and dates.
  • Do I need to pay for the whole year?
No! You can pay as you go per session.
  • What happens if I am unable to attend the live session?
All of our sessions are recorded and sent out on the same day after the class has finished. If you are unable to attend the live class, you can still make a booking and you will receive the full recording along with relevant materials.
  • Will there be a different Doctor teaching me every time?
We understand the importance of continuity and the impact of varying teaching styles that can affect your learning. We aim to ensure that the same Doctor teaches you for the majority of the sessions. Please visit our About us page for profiles of our tutors.
  • If all the students are grouped together how do you deal with students of different abilities?
When it comes to tutoring, one size does not fit all. Therefore, we keep our class sizes small to ensure that the individual needs of each student are met and they can actively participate with the tutor. Furthermore, our tutors are avaliable for direct support in between sessions should they need any help.
  • How should I prepare for the sessions?
As Doctors with over 10 years of experience in tutoring and exemplar grades ourselves, we know exactly what it takes to achieve A* grades. We cover topics at a much faster and intensive pace then at school. These sessions aim to consolidate your knowledge and sharpen your exam technique. We therefore encourage you to read the relevant topics prior to attending the session as well as review the exam paper packs. This will help you make the most of these sessions.
  • Will I need to have my camera on?
Student's will not be required to have their camera or microphones on. The tutor's camera will remain on for the duration of the session to allow explanations and concepts to be easily relayed.
